The 4th Namibia Oil and Gas Conference invites industry professionals, researchers, innovators and policymakers to submit abstracts for its second year technical programme

As Namibia rapidly emerges as one of the world’s most exciting hydrocarbon frontiers, this programme will showcase cutting-edge technical insights, field experiences and forward-looking strategies across the oil and gas value chain.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should:

  • Be 400–600 words in length
  • Clearly state objectives, methodology, results and key insights
  • Highlight practical applications, innovations or case studies
  • Be written in clear, professional English
  • Include authors name, organisation and contact details
  • Supporting figures or data summaries

Evaluation Criteria

The following guidance will help ensure your application meets the required standards and presents your work as clearly and effectively as possible:

All submissions will be reviewed by the Technical Committee based on:

  • Relevance to Namibia and regional energy development
  • Technical quality and depth of content
  • Originality and innovation
  • Practical applicability / case study value
  • Clarity and structure of the abstract
  • Preference may be given to submissions that demonstrate real-world results, collaboration or local impact
