Tony Paul
Anthony (Tony) Paul is a Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) national with a wealth of experience in technical, commercial and strategy management and leadership across the oil and gas value-chain. He has held policymaking, regulatory and operations roles locally and internationally.
His previous roles included:

His deep and rich practical experience has given Tony a unique understanding of the below-ground resources and the operations and business involved in monetising them, as well as the values, aspirations and modus operandi of both investors and resource owners.
As a Consultant, he has advised and supported dozens of governments, investors and service companies in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East and Central and Southern Asia by designing and supporting the implementation of robust and fit-for-purpose policies, strategies, business models, programmes, systems and procedures for in-country value creation, equitable benefit-sharing and using natural gas for industrialization and sustainable development.
Tony has sat on several Government committees, boards and advisory councils of local and international firms and NGOs in the extractives, finance, information technology, engineering, education and other sectors.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Imperial College, London and an MS in Geophysics from the University of Houston, Texas and served as a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies.
