Solomon Ewanehi, an indigene of Edo State. He attended primary and secondary education in Esan South-East, Edo State before moving on to study Economics and Statistics at the then Bendel State University, Ekpoma. He further obtained MBA degree in strategic management and Corporate Governance in Rivers state University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University) for his foray into business.

He is an Economist imbued with an entrepreneurial audacity, born with great ingenuity, a unique gift of spirit of excellence and service to humanity. His stint in the Oil and Gas industry saw him work in various capacities in, Ukemezi Ventures, ABB SOIMI (Nig.) Ltd, oil and gas servicing companies based in Nigeria for several years. His quest for excellence saw him joining Beva Group of companies Ltd, as the Executive Director (Operations).

He is the Founder and currently the Group Chief Executive Officer/Group Managing Director of SOLEWANT GROUP - an acclaimed world class integrated oil and gas organization, specializing in the provision of steel pipes, pipe coating application solution, pipe/metals fabrication and pipeline construction solutions, to oil, gas, water, and allied Industries.

Solewant Group is reputed to have demonstrated outstanding contractor integrity, with a strong impact on the Nigerian economy, the outcome of which when analyzed, revealed a strong nexus between the organizations exceptional deliverable and the growth manifested in the Nigerian energy sector.

Solewant pipe coating plant is acclaimed to be the largest pipe coating plant in Africa. Our facility is also helping to cut the growing needs for coated pipes in upcoming projects in Nigeria.

In January 2022 and February 2023, Solewant Group received a seal of excellence when it won the BEST OIL & GAS CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR 2021 and 2022 AWARDS respectively, awarded by NewsDirect for aiding the oil and gas industry through our steel pipe manufacturing, pipe coating investments, and expansion projects in Nigeria.

In May, 2024, Solewant Group also won the Offshore Africa Oil & Gas Magazine’s THE BEST AFRICAN OIL AND GAS CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD, in Accra, Ghana. Also, on June 9, 2025, Britrise Achievers Award –for positive impact on pipe coating solutions to oil and gas industries in Africa, was presented to Group CEO of Solewant Group, Mr. Solomon Ewanehi at the prestigious House of Lords, Westminster, UK.

The expertise, competence and proven performance on pipeline fabrication, pipe coating application solutions of Solewant extends to IOCs, indigenous oil companies and EPC companies.

Till date, he has attended several local and international Courses/Seminars on Pipe/Metals manufacturing and coating services, marketing and Corporate Governance in Nigeria, Europe and U.S. He is a FELLOW of Entrepreneurship & Corporate Governance by IARSA awarded to him in 2022. 

In September 2023, he was awarded honorary doctorate degree (Conflict and peace resolution) by UNPOLAC Foundation in Lagos. 

Mr. Solomon Ewanehi, is an advocate for simplifying complex issues as the oil and gas industry in Nigeria has witnessed repeatedly and he has put together several world-class facilities and oil and gas training institute that cut across steel pipe manufacturing, pipe coating, fabrication, coating manufacturing and state-of-the-art laboratory.
