Managing Director, High Economic Intelligence

Salomo N. Hei is an experienced Managing Director with over 17 years in the research industry, focusing on economics and investments. He has spent 9 of those years at the executive level. He holds a Master's in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. Salomo is the Founder and Head of High Economic Intelligence (HEI), a registered NSX Sponsor, and also heads up an unlisted investment fund. His expertise spans capital markets, project finance, and data analysis. He has served on various boards, including as Chairperson of the Namibia Statistics Agency, and delivered the first-ever digitally enabled Population and Household Census in Namibia. In 2022, he served as the Lead Consultant for the Feasibility of Establishing the Africa Credit Rating Agency under the African Peer Review Mechanism.
