Rafael Martins brings over 20 years of experience leading complex offshore energy projects. With a strong foundation in Industrial Engineering and an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School, Rafael has built a career at the intersection of strategic execution, technical excellence, and operational leadership.

Currently based in London as Senior Project Manager at Subsea7, Rafael has been leading early engagement initiatives with key clients in Namibia since 2024, overseeing major offshore developments with a focus on safety, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Prior to this role, Rafael spent 17 years at Petrobras, where he held several senior positions, most recently serving as FPSO Project Director. His expertise spans project management, shipbuilding, offshore construction, and stakeholder engagement.

PMP-certified and specialized in offshore engineering, Rafael is recognized for his ability to drive results in high-stakes and dynamic environments.

He is passionate about advancing innovation, efficiency and best practices in the offshore energy sector.
