Miguel Hamutenya has served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Millennium Group of Companies since 1 June 2023. Since joining Millennium Investments Holdings in 2016, he has held several senior leadership roles within the organisation, most recently as Executive Director: Business Development, where he was instrumental in driving the Group's strategic growth, diversification, and investment expansion.

As CEO, Miguel is responsible for the strategic leadership and overall performance of the Millennium Group, guiding a diversified portfolio of businesses across property development and management, oil and gas, mineral exploration and processing, fishing, food production, telecommunications and ICT solutions, marketing and advertising, and hospitality. He also serves on the boards of several subsidiary companies, providing strategic oversight, strengthening corporate governance, and advancing the Group's long-term investment objectives.

A respected business leader with extensive experience in the energy sector, Miguel serves as a Director of Nasan Energies, a major oil marketing company engaged in the importation and distribution of refined petroleum products. He has played a key role in expanding Millennium's presence in the downstream energy industry, including the Group's strategic investment in Central Gas Namibia CC, a company specialising in the wholesale, distribution, and retail of LPG and industrial gases. His expertise in petroleum trading and energy markets has earned him appointments to the executive committees of several petroleum industry associations, where he contributes to industry development and policy dialogue.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Miguel is committed to advancing Namibia's business and investment landscape. He serves as Chairperson of the Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF), championing youth participation, innovation, and skills development within the energy sector. He is also a Director of the Impact Property Fund, a publicly listed property investment fund on the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX), where he contributes to strategic oversight, sound governance, and the creation of long-term shareholder value.

Miguel holds an Honours Degree in Business from United Business School in Madrid, a Diploma in Business Communications from the Norwegian Business School, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Finance from the European School of Economics in London. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Energy and Sustainability, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and to leading businesses that are resilient, responsible, and prepared for the opportunities of the global energy transition.
