Leonard Hamunyela is the Head of Enterprise Banking at FNB Namibia, where he leads the Enterprise Banking segment and drives strategic growth across the commercial business. In this role, he is responsible for deepening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering innovative financial solutions that support enterprise development and economic growth across Namibia.

With more than 10 years of experience in banking and financial services, Leonard has developed extensive expertise spanning investment banking, treasury, structured finance, business development, and dealmaking. Prior to joining FNB Namibia, he served as a Senior Transactor in the Investment Banking Division at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB), where he led the structuring and execution of complex landmark financing transactions across the infrastructure, energy, sovereign, public sector, and corporate sectors.

Leonard is a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) and CA(NAM) and is recognised for his strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and ability to deliver sustainable growth. He is passionate about developing long-term client partnerships, unlocking business opportunities, and creating innovative financing solutions that contribute to the growth and resilience of businesses and the broader economy.
