Mr. Lameka Amuanyena is a registered Professional Engineer with more than 23 years of experience in the Electricity Supply Industry (ESI), consulting and project management sectors. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and has completed the Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP) at Stellenbosch Business School.

Presently, Mr. Amuanyena is employed as the Senior Manager: Electricity and Hydrocarbons and Acting Executive: Technical Regulation at the Electricity Control Board (ECB), where hehas worked for over 11 years. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in electricity regulation, strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the management of complex projects within the ESI.

In addition, he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree at the University of Namibia (UNAM), specialising in Strategic Management, further strengthening his leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities.
