Mr. John G. Aronson is one of the world’s most experienced ESG consultants, having begun his professional career over 5 decades ago at the initial implementation phase of the United States National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  His formal technical training and applied ecological technical environmental and social impact/risk assessment work has emphasized a true interdisciplinary approach, considering physical, chemical, biological, and social characteristics of oil and gas exploration and production projects worldwide.  He has served as ESIA/ESG Program Manager and Principal In Charge for several of the world’s largest and most complex onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and production projects in a wide range of environments, from Arctic to Amazon.  These projects have included Sakhalin II, once the world’s most expensive oil and gas development project (offshore oil, pipeline, LNG terminal); TengizChevroil, Caspian Region, desulfurization; Cuiaba Integrated Energy Project, Bolivia and Brazil; AIOC Early Oil, Azerbaijan and Georgia, offshore Chirag platform, Sangachal and Supsa terminals, northern and western export pipelines; Yetagun Offshore Gas, Myanmar, exploration and production; Mobil Oil S.A. Arun Field; BP Tangguh, West Papua (Island of New Guinea), Rio Madre de Dios, Peru; ConocoPhillips Northern Territories, far northern Arctic developmentand reclamation; Shell Prelude Waste Management Program, Northern Territories, Australia; and Arun Gas Field development, Sumatra, Indonesia.  Mr. Aronson served as Environmental representative and a Co-chair for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability Conference for nearly 20 years, and has published several environmental articles under the SPE (See One Petro).  His African experience has included ESIA/ESG/ESMMP work for clients in Namibia, Niger, Chad, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Republic of the Congo, and Libya  Mr. Aronson has worked in 50 countries worldwide.  He serves as Senior ESG Consultant within the Future Energy Partners, Ltd. global network.
