Jean Michel Akossi ingénieur de production des gisements pétroliers.

Depuis juin 2025, il est Directeur du Contenu Local au sein du Ministere des mines, du pétrole et de l’énergie e. De 2022 à 2025, il a occupé le poste de Responsable de l’Unité de Projet à l’African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO).

Il a précédemment travaillé chez Schlumberger comme ingénieur Wireline et d’évaluation des réservoirs, puis à PETROCI Holding où il a exercé plusieurs fonctions dans la production pétrolière, la logistique pétrolière et les réseaux de gaz naturel.

Certifié en gestion de projet et expert en finance carbone. Il prépare actuellement un doctorat en géologie marine et sédimentologie.

Jean Michel Akossi is a petroleum Production Engineer with extensive experience across leading energy institutions. Since June 2025, he has served as Director of Local Content at the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy of Côte d’Ivoire. From 2022 to 2025, he was Project Unit Manager at the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO), where he contributed to regional energy cooperation. He previously worked at Schlumberger as a Wireline and Reservoir Evaluation Engineer, and at PETROCI Holding, in production, logistics, and natural gas networks. Certified in project management and a recognized expert in carbon finance, he is currently pursuing a PhD in marine geology and sedimentology.
