Jason Kasuto is Managing Director and Chairman of Monasa Advisory & Associates, one of Namibia’s leading advisory firms, serving private, public and multinational organisations across Africa in corporate finance advisory, research, ESG and strategic advisory. He leads the firm’s most complex mandates, spanning capital raising, project finance, deal structuring and market entry across oil and gas, mining, renewable energy and infrastructure.


He co-founded and chairs the Namibia Oil and Gas Conference, the country’s premier convening platform for its emerging petroleum sector, bringing together government, international operators, investors and Namibian industry. He chairs the Economic Association of Namibia, the country’s foremost economic think tank, and serves, by Presidential appointment, as a Commissioner of the Law Reform and Development Commission of Namibia and a Commissioner of the National Planning Commission.


He holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance, both from Stellenbosch University, together with a Master of Public Administration and a BA Honours in Development Studies from the University of the Western Cape. He is a Chartered Development Finance Analyst.
