ESUEME DAN KIKILE, Esq, AG. DIRECTOR, MONITORING & EVALUATION Esueme Dan Kikile was appointed Ag. Director, Monitoring & Evaluation on April 13, 2026. He is responsible for overseeing the Board’s monitoring and evaluation functions, ensuring effective implementation, compliance, performance tracking, and reporting across Nigerian Content programmes and initiatives. Prior to this appointment, he served as General Manager, Human Capacity Building, Capacity Building Directorate. He also served as General Manager, Corporate Communications and Zonal Coordination Division, and Manager, Corporate Communications, where he coordinated strategic communication and stakeholder engagement activities for the Board. Barr. Kikile joined the services of NCDMB in 2014 as a Supervisor in the Monitoring & Evaluation Directorate. He subsequently held several strategic positions within the Board, including Head of Department, Capacity Building Monitoring/Services Utilization, Manager, Capacity Building Monitoring. In these roles, he contributed significantly to monitoring compliance, capacity development initiatives, stakeholder coordination, and strategic communication within the oil and gas industry. In 2015, he proceeded on leave of absence from the Board to serve as Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Information, Orientation and Strategy, Bayelsa State, from May 2015 to February 2016. Prior to joining the Board, he worked with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) as National Project Officer for the Bayelsa Expenditure and Income Transparency Initiative (BEITI). Earlier in his career, he practiced law in Yenagoa and Port Harcourt and served as Principal Legal Officer/Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary at the Border Communities Development Agency, Abuja. Barr. Kikile has attended various international conferences and professional trainings focused on leadership, energy, communication, management, and capacity development. His core competencies include stakeholder engagement, transformational leadership, conflict resolution, team building, and communication. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee, United Kingdom, as well as Bachelor of Laws degrees from the Nigerian Law School and Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He is married with children.
