Esther Kiangi
Esther Kiangi is an admitted Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia and a Senior Associate at SNC Incorporated, where she advises multinational energy companies, financial institutions, investors and public sector entities on commercial transactions, petroleum law, regulatory compliance, foreign investment and corporate governance. Her work spans the upstream, midstream and downstream energy value chain, with experience supporting complex cross-border transactions, legal due diligence, contract negotiation and strategic legal advisory for oil and gas, mining and infrastructure projects.
Esther holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Oil, Gas and Mining Law from Nottingham Trent University and an LLB from the University of Nottingham, both in the United Kingdom. She has contributed to projects supporting the growth of Namibia's emerging petroleum industry in her role at SNC Incorporated. Her experience includes advising on joint operating agreements, farm-out transactions, banking and finance matters, foreign exchange regulation, local content, ESG initiatives and stakeholder engagement with government institutions and industry regulators.
Beyond her legal practice, Esther is deeply committed to youth development, mentorship and strengthening local participation across Namibia's energy sector. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Namibian Youth Generation in Nuclear (NAMYGN Namibia), where she contributes to initiatives that promote youth engagement and capacity building.
