Edward Shati is an energy economist and law professional, founding partner, and principal consultant at EnerLogic, a consulting firm providing strategic intelligence to emergingand high-growth sectors. He holds an MSc in Energy, Economics, and Law from the University of Aberdeen and an MA in Leadership from Liverpool John Moores University. His MSc thesis examined a diversified energy portfolio for Namibia's energy security, exploring the role of oil, gas, and renewables in achieving a resilient energy system. As a consultant, he is currently leading the review and drafting of Namibia’s Industrial Policy and its Implementation Strategy for the Ministry of Industries, Mines, and Energy (MIME). He currently serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at ACREEF. He is a Chevening Scholar, publishing author, and researcher whose work focuses on energy, sustainability, economic development, leadership, and governance.
