Birger Velle Hanssen brings over 30 years of experience with SLB OneSubsea and has been one of the key contributors to the development and successful market introduction of multiphase flow meters since the 1990s. His extensive expertise spans subsea flow meter technologies, including mechanical design, product development, sales, and leadership. Since 2018, he has served as Sales Manager for Subsea Meters, driving growth and strengthening the company’s market position.

Birger is also a recognized industry voice, having presented at multiple SPE conferences on subsea metering and subsea processing technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and is an active member of SPE.
