Ben Ubleble
Dr. Benjamin A. Ubleble is the Executive Secretary of Solewant Energy Training Institute (SETI), the training, research and capacity-development arm of Solewant Group. A development sociologist with a PhD and strong interest in technology development, energy governance and institutional capacity building. He works at the intersection of policy, industry training, local content development and applied energy innovation. Through SETI, he supports industry-facing training, certification, research collaboration and knowledge platforms designed to strengthen technical competence across Africa’s oil, gas and energy value chains.
Dr. Ubleble has been actively involved in Solewant Group’s continental energy engagements, including industry dialogues on digital transformation, indigenous capacity development, pipeline engineering, advanced coating technologies and energy-sector certifications. He also serves as Managing Editor of the Solewant Journal of Energy Innovation, where he helps advance research and practical policy thinking on Africa’s energy future. He is also the Convener of the Solewant Group Africa Energy Summit, an annual thought-leadership platform focused on energy development, innovation and industrial growth across Africa. His published and professional work spans environmental policy, Niger Delta development, energy transition, industrial automation, digital technologies, local content strategy and workforce development. At the Namibia Oil and Gas Conference, he brings a practical African perspective on skills development, technology adoption and industrial capacity as essential drivers of sustainable energy growth.
