Charles Mbeha is currently working as a Deputy-Director responsible for Petroleum Legal, Compliance and Local Content in the newly created Upstream Petroleum Unit under the Office of the President. He has been dealing with Petroleum Legal, Compliance and Local Content in the upstream petroleum sector since 2023 in the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy and now in the Upstream Petroleum Unit. Prior to that he was a Chief Legal Officer in the Office of the Attorney-General since 2011, his fundamental role was to assist the Attorney-General in rendering legal support services to the whole government of Namibia.
