Andrea Pellegrini is a passionate professional with over two decades of experience in the offshore energy sector. Currently, Andrea is responsible for the Saipem's Offshore Projects Execution in the entire West Africa region, including Ghana, Senegal, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Congo, Angola, and Namibia. His management approach is based on empowering his team, prioritizing safety and fostering long-term client relationships based on transparency.

Previously responsible of the Offshore Projects Execution in Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana where he started a pioneering exploration and enhancement of the in-country logistic and fabrication capabilities since 2016 which was followed by the successful acquisition of the series of projects in Guyana for ExxonMobil.

Prior to this, Andrea held the position of Operations & Proposal Manager from 2016 to 2019, where Andrea was responsible for offshore operations in North America, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea. Andrea’s contribution to the commercial efforts by defining vessels and execution strategies, optimizing schedules through technical solutions led to the acquisition of the four initial projects in Guyana (Liza, Liza2, Payara and Yellowtail) with ExxonMobil.

From 2013 to 2016, Andrea managed the Engineering and Offshore Installation Methods department in Houston (USA), overseeing a team of up to 50 people. Andrea's career began with various project management roles from 2004 to 2013, working on significant projects in the UK, Russia, Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Andrea holds a Master's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from the University of Ancona (Italy) and Edinburgh (UK). Andrea is known for reliability, team collaboration, efficiency, analytical skills, decision-making, accountability, and organizational abilities. Andrea is passionate about delivering energy through large offshore EPCI projects and has a proven track record of focusing on schedule, quality, and long-term client relationships.
