Alister Forder currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Azule Energy, Angola’s largest independent oil and gas equity producer. 
In this role, Alister is responsible for overseeing the company’s operational strategy and execution, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability across its diverse portfolio.
Prior to joining Azule Energy, Alister Forder held various senior leadership positions at bp, where he developed a robust skill set in operations management, rotating equipment, gas processing, and commissioning. His extensive experience in the oil and gas sector has been instrumental in driving Azule Energy’s ambitious growth and innovation agenda.

Under his leadership, Alister has been instrumental in delivering and improving operational efficiency to Azule Energy operated assets while enhancing the capability of Azule non-operated assets. This comprehensive approach has been pivotal in strengthening Angola's energy infrastructure and reinforcing the country's energy security and economic development.

Alister Forder is known for his collaborative approach and technical expertise, which have been vital in fostering partnerships with major industry players such as Sonangol E&P, Chevron, and TotalEnergies.
