PhD, Director Corporate Services, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB

Dr. Abdulmalik Halilu (PH.D, FNIM, PMP) is currently the Director, Corporate Service at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), where he oversees the Information & Communication Technology, Facilities & Logistics as well as Health, Safety, Security & Environment functions of NCDMB. Prior to assuming this role, he was the Director Monitoring and Evaluation responsible for Monitoring Nigerian Content compliance and evaluating the impact of local content implementation in the Nigerian economy. He had previously served as the Director Planning Research and Statistics, responsible for corporate planning & policy development, statistical data analytics and overseeing the Research & Development mandate of the Board.

Prior to joining NCDMB in 2011, Dr. Halilu worked in Accenture, a global management consulting, technology, and outsourcing firm, where he was involved in many development projects including the Nigeria Vision 20:2020 economic transformation blueprint, the NNPC transformation project "PACE", the National biofuels policy and renewable energy program, the roll out of the Unique Taxpayer Identification Number (UTIN) among others. He has been a teaching instructor at the Center for Professional Development St. Charles, Chicago, USA,

Dr. Halilu brings extensive expertise in oil and gas, development financing, utilities, International energy relations, agribusiness, manufacturing, renewable energy, supply chain management, strategic planning and project management.

A change   management   practitioner, certified   project   management   professional   and   a   policy development specialist, Dr.  Halilu holds a Doctorate degree in Energy economics, management & policy, master degree in development studies, post graduate diploma in management science  and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Agricultural Technology. 

A member of the Kaduna golf club, a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management, and a member of Project Management Institute, Dr. Halilu  is married with children.
